ensure you fill all holes with syrup

I learned that the volume of the cup they give you to pour the batter is smaller than the required volume to fill Texas. However, the syrup contained in two packs is sufficient.

Conclusion: Texas is too big for waffles.

Conclusion: Alaska is way too big for waffles. Besides, there’s hardly anyone there to eat them.

Too true, but the people that are there tend to eat A LOT of waffles, and everything else.

I’ve heard that some of those folks need 5,000 calories a day just to keep warm. I don’t know if that’s true, but I do know that our admin assistant had a hard time with her diet after living in Alaska for two years. She just couldn’t eat the same way without gaining lots of weight.

That’s what happens when you have to chase down your food and drag it back...

Oh, it’s a waffle iron, I thought it was a proposed congressional voting map.

Plus in Alaska, the average year round temp is low enough to freeze syrup. Puts a damper on pancakes.

As far as I can tell,  average temp is low enough to freeze just about everything.

The Springhill Suites I always stay at in Houston has that. I think I used it once. Been there like ten times now. I don’t think I’m patient enough to wait on it even though it’s not that long of a cook time.

I’ve been at the springhill suites on the northwest side. No waffles. Right now I’m traveling with my family and that’s where I found the awesome waffle iron. I may have to change accommodations again when I go back to Houston next week!

The cook time is three minutes. That’s plenty of time to serve up some eggs and bacon,  grab something to drink and get it all situated at the table. Then Bingo! Waffle is done!

I really should get my hands on a CNC Mill and try making my own custom shaped waffle irons...

The one I’m always at is by NRG Stadium when I’m there for work. Usually twice a year. They actually just remodeled the rooms so it was kinda weird going in there and the rooms being so different. It threw me off when I walked in.
